Andreas is the Executive Director of Toronto Music City, a non-profit building with the mandate to build healthy music ecosystems and sustainable creative communities, focused primarily in providing affordable housing and creative spaces to the music industry. He is also a lawyer (Kalogiannides Law) practicing primarily in business, intellectual property and entertainment law. Andreas is a founding member of the Toronto Music Advisory Council (TMAC), a City of Toronto board advising City Council on policies to develop the music sector, and served as TMAC Co-Chair from 2014-2017; Andreas also serves as a board member of the Yonge-Dundas Square Board of Management, and the Corktown Residents and Business Association.
Andreas grew up playing classical piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music, saxophone while in school, self-taught on guitar, and now jams & writes for fun. His favourite music includes blues, reggae, hip-hop, classic rock and opera.
Since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2015, Ryan worked at a reputable boutique law firm in Brampton, Ontario where he honed his skills in real estate law and litigation. While there, Ryan worked on dozens of real estate transactions representing both sellers and buyers in both commercial and residential contexts. He also appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice for a wide variety of criminal and family law matters. Now, Ryan is using his skills in these arenas at his own firm and he is building a reputation as a lawyer who works tirelessly for his clients in the courtroom and at the negotiation table.
Prior to starting Martin Law, Ryan also practiced in the area of family law where he represented clients in complex family law mediation and negotiation sessions and in motions before the Superior Court of Justice.
